10 out of 10 customer service!! these guys are great reasonable costs, not too expensive and the work that they do is absolutely great! I would highly recommend these guys to anybody who needs accessories of any kind or any work done to their bike!
Great staff. Have purchased 2 bikes from them the past 3 years and am always pleased with service and education they provide. I think their service department is fabulous. Guru fitting was well done and has made a huge difference in my comfort level . Zach did this for me and I highly recommend to anyone that is not comfortable on their bike to ask for Zach and get this done. Bruce is great and will take time to research questions and products for ones' specific needs. Keep up the good work Chainwheel.
New to Road Biking, stopped in to get myself better informed. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. Not pushy and offered advice when looking at other shops. We were introduced to and began mountain biking (MTB) with friends while we were on vacation during the summer of 2013; we knew immediately that we were going to take up the sport. Upon our return home we visited a number of local bike stores in Central Arkansas before making the decision of where we were going to do business. The guys at Chainwheel made our decision an easy one. Bruce Thalheimer, the owner, worked with both of us to get us started out the right way from the beginning. First, Bruce took a genuine interest in us and wanted to know everything about the type of riding we had done and what we felt like we were going to be in doing in the future. Then he fit us in all of the necessary gear (helmets, padded bike shorts, shoes, and gloves) and put us on the bikes that fit our riding needs and budget. I cannot say enough about our experiences we have had with the service department at Chainwheel; these guys know their stuff and if you have an issue with a bike they will bend over backwards to accommodate you.
Over the past several years MTB has become an activity that we are passionate about doing. As we’ve become more involved in the sport, our desire for higher end, more MTB specific bikes has grown. This year Bruce went out his way to get us on the bikes we were dreaming about, and in a manner that has reinforced the fact the we undoubtedly made the right decision to choose to do business with Chainwheel. I highly recommend them.
Moving back to the US from Cape Town area and on to New Mexico, stopping in Little Rock. Best bike shopping experience and perhaps the best (anything) shopping experience I've had. Very tuned in to my needs and welcoming. Not pushy at all and loads of good advice.
