I’m truly frustrated at the staff on 9a. My mom has asked for things several times & people forget about her. Nobody seems to be listening to her. They’re not monitoring her at all & she has congestive heart failure. I’m glad I’m a pct & know how to do everything myself & can explain things to her.
My mother in law was rushed to the hospital! It’s great to have free valet parking for the ER! By the time we got in, they said she was in CT! Very shortly, afterwards, we were notified that she needed a clot taken out of her brain! Staff is very friendly and honest about outcomes of her condition! I’m happy that they took the situation seriously and acted promptly. They walked us to the waiting room and instructed us how to move our vehicles to the main free parking deck! Didn’t get lost! Cafeteria is great! The catfish is overpriced. Nice layout of the hospital. Clean. Only issue we have is that the attending neurologist signed off on her and didn’t inform us the reason why. Had to have a different neurologist to read her MRI, CTs, and EEG! The nurse filed a complaint against the previous neurologist! Great nurses! Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, laboratory personnel, and all who contributed to saving her life including the One and Only, God!
Came to ER for treatment of an acute medical issue my husband was experiencing. It took the foreign clerk at the check in desk 3 times to correctly enter his last name in their system. He was called to the triage area where a cocky, smart ass PA briefly listened to his lungs, ,asked a few questions and made a snap judgment of what was wrong. A clerk there then took his blood pressure only, oalthough my husband could have fever. The clerk then asked him a few health history questions. The next person came in with her laptop and got demographic and insurance information. The lab tech couldn't get a vein twice. Then we went back to the waiting room. Have been sitting here 4 hours straight and NOTHING has been done! My husband is in dire pain and although he doesn't have a life threatening issue, he needs to be seen AND someone needs to listen to him!
Went to the ER last night in severe abdominal pain. There were only a couple of patients in the waiting room that came in after me. We waited an hour and a half before being called back. There weren't many patients in the treatment area either so I was upset that I had to wait so long. My nurse wasn't very attentive and never asked if I needed anything. The Dr. came in to examine me....kind of...it wasn't what I would call an exam. He said he would talk to his attending Dr. and would be back. An hour later he came back and gave me a prescription and told me to follow up with my Dr. Very disappointed with this visit! I have been in this hospital before and it was usually very good but for this visit I barely give them 1 star.
Me and my fiance had a very hard few days in labor and delivery 2nd floor, Anyone that has had a child knows how stressful it can be anyways , there was an RN by the name of Janice that went above and beyond to make my soon to be wife feel comfortable. She is exactly the kind of nurse anyone should strive to be , she even worked a double just to help with delivery. Thank you so much and the rest of the staff.
