Terrible experience with Xtreme Spa and Salon!! I bought a LivingSocial for a manicure and pedicure deal for $29 (such a great deal I couldn't pass it up!). It was a completely awful experience. Do not buy for a group. They only have it set up for 1 person at a time. They worked with us and we managed to schedule an appointment (3 of us), I called the day of to check and make sure we were still on the books and good to go and was told "yes, come in at 6." We showed up and were told we would have to reschedule because the other manicurist did not show up. Rescheduled and were cancelled two more times. Was told she would extend the deal up to six months but when I called not even one month after it had expired I was greeted with scoffs and told it was not possible to extend expired deals. Managed to reschedule, was cancelled due to weather and told to come in that Saturday. Called to confirm and was told there was no way I was coming in on Saturday because they don't do nails on Saturdays and that I wasn't on the books. Their attitudes were terrible, then they would try to accommodate us...but these accommodations were not genuine. I will NEVER attempt to go here again NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND this salon to anyone. If they treat all of their customers like we were treated, I don’t know how they are still in business. While I was incredibly unhappy with this Salon, if you have had a similar experience you will be happy to hear the people at LivingSocial are awesome and will refund your voucher for "Deal Bucks."
My first two visits to Extreme Spa & Salon were really GREAT!! I was so happy with my lashes and thought I would have a relash salon for a long time to come. Was I ever caught off-guard!! My third appointment was arranged at the end of my second visit and I made a point of getting there a few minutes early. After all, it was the Dec. 21 and Christmas was just a few days away. I wanted to look my best for the holidays! When I arrived at the salon, it was PITCH DARK! The door was locked and there was no one inside. I immediately called Denise's cell phone, which is also the salon number, but I got no answer. I left a voice message that I was waiting at the salon, since no one had contacted me to advise that my appointment would not hold. I sent her 2 text messages to find out if there was some emergency that would require my rescheduling my visit. To this date, January 1, 2013, Denise has not returned or acknowledged my attempts to contact her. No response to my voice messages, text messages or anything. My lashes looked a hot mess for the holidays and there was no hint of integrity in the way this was handled. I learned that other clients talk to her regularly and appointments are scheduled and kept, but she just DROPPED ME without any explanation! I am so disappointed in the way business is conducted at this establishment and I have no intention of EVER going there again, or recommending her services to anyone else!!
