This office has underwent serious change. Unfortunately, it is change for the worse. The scheduling is completing disorganized. They are not organized. They are understaffed. The only person there that seems to always be on top is the receptionist, and she isn't full time. I am calling today for a referral. I want my psychiatrist's office to be on top of things.
Horrible experience - I've worked in mental health field, with many MD's, therapist.....I wouldn't refer my dog here. The office manager - surreal.
(Dr Davis who i believe is in LR-likely best I've ever interacted with on patient basis. Always very impressed with overall ethic, very kind and really listens.)
Only care about the bottom line of their pockets. U only get 15 minutes per medication management appointment and do not have a team approach toward your psychiatric issues. Not once did Dr. Nguyen consult with my psychologist (PhD) about what was going on in my life nor did he care. Don't waste your time here. You will just be a number!
Now I hear they are against the use of medical marijuana-won't be signing any recommendations. As someone who's worked extensively with PTSD patients, seen the sad statistics, smh.....I've seen countless people get their lives back, able to live again....it's almost archaic to deny how much cannabis has repeatedly shown to help PTSD patients.
Do as they ask and you will get what you need. Dr Owens is sharp and highly educated but is a bit of a stickler about grooming. If you need to make a good impression keep that in mind.
