Best Reuben I've ever had. ( and I'm from New York) . The homemade chips are delicious too.

This was my first experience with Cheers in the Heights. It's a quaint little place nestled between shops and some residential in what used to be a barber shop. Dropped by for a pick up order. Its was balls to the wall busy with people lined up in front of me. Its close quarters but not cramped, If you have personal space issues, you may be more comfortable outside on the patio, which depending on the season, is enclosed to prevent frostbitten appendages. The waitstaff were friendly and quick to greet me and find out what I needed. Picked up my Chicken and dumpling soup and made my way back to work to finish my day. Now, my palate is not the most refined, and I couldn't tell you the difference between cilantro and parsley, but this soup is a freaking Mardi Gras in my face hole! To the point I wanted to take my shirt off and dance in the street! (I didn't. It's cold and I don't want want to explain to local authorities what a maori haka is. GOOGLE IT) I'll definitely be back to sample some of their other offerings and see if I can keep my clothes on Figuratively speaking of course. Cheers!

I like the outside dinning area and the waitress was good. I would suggest sticking with burgers and sandwiches which are always good. It would be great if they got beer on tap but mostly wine drinkers patronize this place. I go every other month or so when the weather permits for outside dining with wife.

Cheers is THE Neighborhood restaurant in the Heights. Sure it is only a few blocks from my house but really the food is what makes it so special. Of course they have a great cheese dip and chips which is a prerequisite for a great Arkansas local restaurant. And great sandwiches , salads etc. But I really like the grilled southern inspired dishes like crawfish on top of the catch of the day. And if you have a special event their back room is awesome and Chris and Samantha Tanner will create wonderful food and great wines , beer or cocktails to compliment. Oh and if you don't want to see everybody you can get take out.

Always good food and good service. Highly recommend this place.
