The only way this place would get more than one star is from locals and location. The staff was kind but extremely slow. Drinks came out 20+ minutes after order (3 Times) and a Medium Well Steak came out rare. After sent back, it returned charred and well. So, in short, for three steaks, and a chicken....240+ could have been spent in better places.
Outside of sitting at the bar, this place is not worth it.
Lovely food, quiet and quaint setting. Reminiscent of a New York or Film Noir high-end restaurant. (The Jazz music and decor helped.) And the food and dessert was excellent! Highly recommended!
Always excellent food, good service. The cold smoked filet and bone in pork chop are top notch. It is pricey, but great for celebration or annual meetings and parties.
Sea bass and scallop dishes were excellent. Floors in back room and menu covers seemed dirty. Impressive wine list. Luscious chocolate "sack" dessert.
It was for our 20th anniversary that we went to So. The booth that we were sat down at faced the wall next to the bathroom. No good view at all. We even had called ahead for reservations and said it was our 20th anniversary. Some flowers for a later anniversary were placed on our table by mistake. They were removed (after an embarrassing situation for my wife & me). We do not drink alcohol, & after we stated that we were brought water with no offer of anything non-alcoholic. My wife ordered lobster tail. We were told they were out of that. We then ordered the sea bass and scallops. The entrees were fantastic. However, service was very poor and slow. On our way out we looked into the next room that had a much better view than just a wall and bathrooms. (& no diners there either) We are wondering why we weren't put in that room. Overall a poor dining experience. We won't be back, nor will we recommend this place to anyone else. The only reason this has one star is that the site will not allow me to put 0 stars.
