Will never return! I have shopped at Pickles and Ice Cream many times, and while they have some attractive products for infants, I have always regretted giving any of my money to the hateful and odd owners. During one visit, I witnessed them arguing- very loud- with each other. On the next visit, the wife made me feel as if I were attempting to purchase a junky used car... she pulled out every cheesy sales tactic in the book, but it didn't work. While shopping for a convertible car seat today, I purposefully avoided the odd male owner (who always makes me feel 100% freaked out when I've had to speak with him in the past). Unfortunately, the woman offended me even more by informing me of how ridiculous ALL consumer ratings and safety ratings for car seats are- even though I was trying to tell her that the car seat they sell is the one that received the highest reviews. She would not shut up long enough to hear that part. Then- her eeky husband peeked around my shoulder to abruptly say: "It's like this... do you trust your life to plastic or steel? Huh?!" I did not reply. The woman suggested we allow our 7 month old son to sit in the car seat and try it out. She went so far as to say "You never know until you try, so let's see what you think about it." When I asked if they had one in a box to purchase (one that wasn't thrown together by someone I don't know for display purposes) she stuck her obnoxious nose in the air and said "Ugh... Ugh... well, he's already messed around in this one. I mean... Ugh... Ya know... Eww." That was it for us. My husband and I left that store and it is SO easy to say with TOTAL confidence that I will NOT ever be returning to that over-priced, obnoxious store. There are several other boutiques that sell the same products. We ended up purchasing the exact same car seat for $60 less!! Pickles and Ice Cream makes me sick!

I walked in the door with my husband and my 14mo old daughter. The ladies working at the time stood there....looked up and never once said a word. I would go browse and leave the area and they would follow up behind me. I dont know if this was to straighten up what I had looked at or to make sure I did not take anything. They did not once approach us to ask us what we werelooking for or if we needed help. I will not ever go back. It is not like we look like vagrants or theives. We were very nicely dressed and polite....just very rude place

Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
