Pretty good selection of furniture. No a.c. in the showroom which is miserable in the summer. Prices are comparable to other local funiture stores that have a.c.
We're sorry Ms. Wendt is unhappy with her experience at Cost Plus. We have exchanged the mattress twice at the customer's request since the purchase, and credited the account for the difference, rather than charge as stated in the review, when the customer re-selected to a less expensive mattress. Cost Plus will always strive to provide excellent customer service.
I put a console table in layaway in November and went back in December to get it and was told it was no longer in the building. I was told when I made a down payment in November that the console was in the building and they would move it up front so I could get it before the end of the year. Yet it was moved to their out of town storage facility and was damaged in the process. Although they will order another one, it's disheartening; especially after having driven from out of town to buy it and be told it's not there. In all fairness, I have shopped here before and had much better experiences. The products sold here are of good quality and the workers are kind and answer any questions about their products competently. Although disappointed with this experience, I will do business with them again.
Bed 1 broke down in 11 months with dips in both sides (because I rotate every time I change bedding). After MUCH push back, they swapped out my set for another brand of my choice (I paid the difference). A year later, same issue with set 2, only worse. I now sleep on my spare that I purchased 20 years ago from FC Peters that's has YET to break down.
Reasonable prices, long wait for product to be made and shipped, but you really do get what you paid for. Was disappointed with the quality.
Let me preface - when they "agreed" to swap out the first set, it was NOT without pushback and honestly the most unsettling experience I've ever had "shopping local".
I will always shop locally. Never at CP again.
