I can't believe this nasty hotel had 3.6 stars. Don't stay here. It's not clean. No hot shower. Hair on towels. We asked for a non smoking room, they put us in the third floor, where as soon as you get off the elevator it reeks of smoke cigarettes. The room of course stank as well. The furniture is dirty and has staines. The carpet was wet. Ew! Only two towels for a two queen bed. No laundry bag. If you're are gonna spend close to $100 stay where it's worth it.
This place was horrible. The building is under construction and instead of them letting us know ahead of time, we arrive to see it. In the two nights we stayed, our room was never cleaned after we asked staff twice. The noise from the construction woke us early. Honestly the construction workers were nicer than the actual hotel staff as they at least apologized for the noise. Nope, never again.
I was very happy to have hot breakfast options (waffle maker, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy) as well as the other usual choices. The bed, sheets, and pillows were quite comfortable. The towels were thin, small, and a little scratchy but ive had worse at other hotels. The customer service clerk at check in was not friendly at all. The door to get into the room was very frustrating, the key would "work" and the light would turn green but it took several tries to get the door to actually open. We eventually figured out that lifting the handle up instead of down worked more consistently. Overall it was a good hotel for the price to get off the road for the night.
The hotel itself was under construction, which we were not aware of. I expect that after construction it will look quite nice. However, that will not change the fact that the breakfast room was horribly staffed and utterly disgusting. It appeared that the young male employee was wearing his socks as he walked between the breakfast area and the service area. He never bothered to clean or to refill foods that were completely empty. The front desk lady, the night we checked in, was very nice and made sure that we were happy with our room. However, in general the hotel was dingy and staff did not take much pride in their work outside of the front desk person. We will not return.
I stayed at this hotel while they were renovating the lobby. Upon walking in the front area was a bit of a disaster, but understandable because of the remodeling. The front desk person was very kind upon arrival and even called up to the room when we got up there to check that everything was okay. Our room in fact was not okay, and she quickly switch just to another which was much better. Still this room has some issues. It wasn't very clean there are stains on just about every piece of fabric. However the worst part was the thin walls. I could hear just about everything that went on in the room next to me. In the morning at breakfast, one of the staff members was not wearing shoes. The hot breakfast was low on several Foods in the staff member checked them and did not replace anything. I did not enjoy my stay and I would not come here. The only redeeming quality about this place was the nice woman who checked me in when I arrived.
