So, this is an awesome restaurant every day except for holidays. Thanksgiving, for example, they have no turkey & dressing at 5:30 PM yet they close at 10 PM. The food seriously took 1 hour and 37 minutes to get to our table, now this does not include the 30 minute wait to be seated or the additional time waiting for the server to take our order kind you. No drink refillls in all this time either. When the food finally arrived it looked like it was scraped from the bottom of the barrel. The Mac & Cheese was a tiny serving and had burned cheese spots and the sweet potato casserole was a whole separate story. Every time I have eaten here it has been perfect except for Thanksgiving & Mother’s Day. So just don’t go on a holiday and you will be fine!
Placed a to go order. Old Timer breakfast only came with eggs and bacon, everything else was missing. The pancakes were severely burnt, and they smelled like they were cooked on the same part if the grill as the meat. The smell was so bad my wife and kids couldn't stomach past the pork smell. The worst Cracker Barrel I've ever been to, never again. I expect this from a nasty roadside diner.
Just changed from 2 star to 1 star. I took a bite of the pancakes and I can't get the nasty taste out of my mouth. How do you mess up pancakes like that?!
My mom and I are regular customers. We absolutely love their birthday, encouragement, love cards etc. This was the first time that I have felt VERY uncomfortable. As we browsed the cards the manager (female, short, long black hair, Caucasian) kept walking around us and staring. When we would look at her she would give a quick fake smile. With all of the staring, she never once asked if we needed any assistance with anything. We chose to leave and not purchase anything. I WILL NEVER go back to this location again!! Only reason I'm giving this a one star is because I can't give it a zero.
Once seated, we waited 15 minutes and not one employee ever attempted to take our drink order, nothing. With a hungry two year old, there's only so much time you can wait to be acknowledged. When a party that came in after us was waited on before us, we walked out. The restaurant was not very busy, plenty of empty tables. It was 2:30pm. We went for a late lunch in hopes of missing the biggest rush, instead we missed any semblance of service. Horrible experience.
The food was so delicious and the wait was not long. Our waiter was very accommodating and so friendly. Willie, you are one in a million, you made our dining in experience wanting to come back
